1. Acceptance of Terms
By registering an account, accessing, or using the Curate platform (curateme.co), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions in full. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not register, access, or use the platform. Your continued use of the platform following any updates to these Terms constitutes acceptance of the revised version.
2. Definitions
In these Terms & Conditions: • "Platform" means the Curate web application and associated services operated at curateme.co. • "Designer" means an interior designer, architect, FF&E designer, procurement specialist, estimator, fit-out contractor, developer, or related professional who submits RFQs through the Platform. • "Supplier" means a manufacturer, distributor, importer, trading company, retailer, or agent approved to receive RFQs and submit quotations through the Platform. • "RFQ" means a Request for Quotation submitted by a Designer for sourcing products or services. • "BOQ" means a Bill of Quantities — an itemised list of products, specifications, and quantities associated with an RFQ. • "Quotation" means a supplier's pricing response to an RFQ or BOQ. • "Membership" means a designer (free) or supplier (paid) plan granting access to Platform features. • "Curate", "we", "us", or "our" refers to the operator of the Platform.
3. Eligibility
The Platform is intended for business-to-business use within the UAE and the wider GCC region. To register, you must: • Be at least 18 years of age and have full legal capacity to enter into binding contracts. • Be registering on behalf of a legitimate business entity and have the authority to represent that entity. • Provide accurate, current, and complete business information, including valid trade licence and identification documents where applicable. Curate reserves the right to decline any registration application at its sole discretion.
4. Account Registration & Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity conducted through your account. You agree to: • Provide truthful and accurate information during registration and keep it up to date. • Notify Curate immediately of any unauthorised use of your account or any other security breach. • Not share your account credentials with third parties or allow multiple individuals to use a single login. Curate may suspend or terminate accounts that are found to be compromised, inactive for extended periods, or associated with fraudulent or suspicious activity.
5. Membership Plans & Billing
Access to the Platform is available through the following memberships: • Designer Membership — Free. Interior designers and architects can register and use the platform at no cost, with no payment details required. • Supplier Premium (Verified Partner) — AED 499/month (or the annual equivalent where offered). Supplier subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing cycle (monthly or annually, depending on your plan) until cancelled. Payment is processed securely via Stripe. Curate reserves the right to modify membership pricing, features, and service offerings at any time with reasonable notice. Pricing changes will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle following the notice.
6. Refund Policy
All subscription payments are final and non-refundable once processed. • You may cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you will retain full access until then. • No partial or pro-rated refunds are issued for unused time remaining in a billing cycle after cancellation. • Annual subscription payments are final and non-refundable, regardless of usage or procurement activity. No pro-rated refunds are issued for the remaining months of an annual term after cancellation. For procurement transaction refunds, product refunds, returns, and warranty claims must be handled directly with the relevant supplier. Curate is not responsible for supplier refunds, product quality, or delivery issues, but will assist in mediation where possible. Curate's platform fees, including RFQ processing fees and transaction fees, are non-refundable once a service has been rendered.
7. Procurement Transactions
Curate operates as a procurement and sourcing facilitator. Depending on the transaction structure, Curate may coordinate quotations, procurement activities, communications, payments, order administration, and supplier engagement on behalf of users. Curate is not a party to any supplier-designer transaction and does not guarantee: • The accuracy or completeness of quotations, specifications, or pricing provided by suppliers. • Product availability, quality, or fitness for purpose. • Delivery timelines or supplier performance. • The outcome of any procurement process or project. Suppliers remain solely responsible for the products, specifications, warranties, manufacturing, delivery, and performance of their goods and services. Designers remain responsible for reviewing all quotations, verifying specifications, and making final procurement decisions.
8. User Conduct
You agree to use the Platform lawfully, professionally, and in good faith. The following are strictly prohibited: • Submitting false, misleading, or fraudulent information or RFQs. • Misrepresenting products, services, credentials, or business identity. • Contacting Curate-introduced suppliers or designers outside the Platform to circumvent Platform fees or processes. • Sharing supplier or designer contact details obtained through the Platform for the purpose of bypassing Curate. • Uploading illegal, harmful, infringing, or malicious content. • Interfering with or disrupting Platform operations, or attempting unauthorised access to any system, account, or data. This non-circumvention obligation applies during active use of the Platform and for 24 months following the last interaction facilitated through Curate. Violations may result in immediate account suspension and potential legal action.
9. Intellectual Property
Curate retains exclusive ownership of the Platform software, workflows, branding, trademarks, visual identity, databases, AI systems, and all website content and documentation. You retain ownership of all content you upload to the Platform. By uploading content, you grant Curate a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to store, process, analyse, and share that content with authorised Platform participants as necessary to deliver Platform services. You warrant that you have the rights to upload all content you submit and that it does not infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party.
10. Privacy & Data Protection
Curate collects, stores, and processes personal data in accordance with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (PDPL). We collect identity, business, contact, financial, usage, and document data necessary to verify accounts, facilitate procurement workflows, process payments, and comply with legal requirements. We do not sell your personal data. Data may be shared with Stripe (payment processing) and Google (email delivery), and with our internal team for verification and operations. Supplier identities are never disclosed to designers, and designer identities are never disclosed to suppliers. We retain personal data only for as long as necessary — active account data is retained while the account is active; closed account data is deleted or anonymised within 90 days; financial records are retained for 7 years as required by UAE tax law. We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted transmission, secure cloud storage, and access controls. Under UAE PDPL, you have the right to access, correct, request deletion of, and withdraw consent for processing of your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact hello@curateme.co. 12. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Curate disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Curate shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, loss of profits or business opportunities, business interruption, procurement decisions made by users, supplier failures or non-performance, design errors, delayed or failed deliveries, or project delays or cost overruns outside Curate's direct control. Curate's total aggregate liability for any claim arising from the use of the Platform shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to Curate during the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Curate and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform, your uploaded content, your supplier or buyer relationships, your procurement decisions, or your violation of these Terms & Conditions.
14. Termination
Curate reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account at any time, with or without notice, for breach of these Terms & Conditions, fraudulent activity, abuse of Platform features, non-payment of fees, or legal or regulatory concerns. Upon termination, your access to the Platform will be removed. Any obligations that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, indemnification, non-circumvention, and limitation of liability provisions — will continue to apply.
15. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any dispute arising out of or relating to the use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The parties shall attempt to resolve any dispute amicably before initiating formal proceedings.
16. Changes to Terms
Curate may update or amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. Material changes will be communicated to registered users via email or through a Platform notification. Your continued use of the Platform following the effective date of any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically for updates.
